Our story
Why VedaVidesh
VedaVidesh is for every Indian family that wants to keep traditional knowledge alive, whether home is Chennai, Pune, Vienna or New Jersey. Children growing up far from their grandparents miss the stories, festivals and small daily rituals that once came naturally. Parents want to pass them on but often don't know where to start.
We began with Garbha Sanskara classes for expecting mothers. Today VedaVidesh brings together festival guides, life ceremonies, children's stories, recipes, events, a few live classes and crafts from every region of India, all rooted in Indian ways of living, from the South to Central and North India, and shared in English with Indian languages where they help.
